The “World Patriarchal Maronite Foundation for Integral Development” Board of Trustees held its general assembly in Bkerke in the presidency of His Beatitude, Cardinal Mar Bechara Boutros Rai, and the presence of few Bishops. The Board of Trustees discussed its work plan and some of the proposed projects.

The Vice President of the Foundation, Dr. Salim Sfeir, introduced His Beatitude to the new board members and they are: Consul Jacques Sarraf, Consul Donald Abed, Mr. Nar Khatchadourian and Mr. Salim El-Zyr. The attendees discussed the projects submitted to the Foundation and the various committees presented their reports and appropriate decisions were taken. His Beatitude wished success to everyone in what they are seeking in order to strengthen the Lebanese in his land.
