His Beatitude Patriarch Bechara Boutros El Rai presided, on Tuesday, June 24th, 2014, the meeting of the Constituent Board of the “World Patriarchal Maronite Foundation for Integral Development”.

During this meeting, he declared the decree of incorporation and referred that this Foundation aims at the elaboration of developmental, social, economic and educational programs to consolidate and promote the efficient Christian presence in Lebanon and the Middle East. The Constituent Board started its work managed by Dr. Salim Sfeir five months ago during which it elaborated the general philosophy, the administrative and organizational structure of the Foundation which was submitted to His Beatitude who gave instructions to start the work with the issue of the incorporation decree.
