The Care Assistant Program
The Care Assistant Program (CAP) is designed to create job opportunities for the Christians in need of stable
income while also training them to acquire new skills/ profession; it aims at developing the technical and
professional capacities of the selected trainees in the medical care sector. It is a training program providing hands on
training to acquire new skills in assisting the medical nurses in their daily tasks.
The Care Assistant Program (CAP), is a joint Venture between the World Patriarchal Maronite Foundation
for Integral Development (WPF) and the Hôtel-Dieu de France (HDF) - Centre Hospitalier Université Saint
Joseph de Beyrouth
Requirements for Enrollment in the Program:
Age 20 and 50 years of age, with or without Bachelor degree
The selection of the candidates is based on a two-steps process:
1- First Evaluation Phase at WPF
• Provision of Relevant Documents
- Copy of ID
- Medical Report
- Family Record
- Criminal Record
• Live Interview with the program specialist
2- Second Evaluation Phase at HDF
Duration of the Program: 3 Months
The 3 months training are paid on minimum salary.
After the 3 months and based on assessment tests, jobs are secured based on minimum salary + NSSF
(Transportation Allowances Included).
Location of the Training:
Hotel Dieu de France (HDF) – Ashrafieh, Lebanon
Training Schedule:
200 hours of theory complemented by hands-on training of an average of 48 hours per week.
Attendance is mandatory during the whole program.
