Dr. Nabil Fahed

Dr Nabil Fahed is the Chairman and CEO of Fahed Group comprising Import, Distribution, Retail and Real Estate Development companies. He is the president of the syndicate of supermarket owners of Lebanon and the Vice Chairman/Treasurer of the Chamber of Commerce of Beirut and Mount Lebanon. He has taught Finance and Management for over 25 years at the George Washington University, Washington DC and the American University of Beirut. He currently serves on several Boards: The National Economic Council, The National Council for Consumer Protection, The Lebanese Economic Organizations (Treasurer), Global Lebanese Investors (Treasurer), Nature Conservancy Center at AUB, Institute of Family and Entrepreneurial Business at LAU, and the Industrial Engineering Department at AUB. Before joining the family business, he had a career in Finance as Managing Director of Middle East Group and Investment officer of IFC/World Bank. He holds a PhD and MS in Engineering Management from the George Washington University and BE in Electrical Engineering from AUB.
