Maher, New Projects Thanks to New Skills Acquired!
In the framework of Maher program, a Solar Panel Maintenance and Installation course was held at the Dekwaneh Arts & Crafts Institute in partnership with the Ministry of Education and Higher Education. 11 men, coming from different walks of life, graduated and started working in this field.
Chadi, 51, is an urban architect, he studied at Université Saint Joseph and is a father of three. With the crisis plaguing the country, he decided to retrain and add additional know-how to his knowledge.
“It’s almost a new world that has opened up to me, particularly with regard to photovoltaic electricity. This helps me a lot in my work. Since I did the training, I have taken on two projects and today I am on my third,” he says.
As for Johnny, a 30 years old, he notes that this training was a new door that opened for him. “When I was a teenager, I went to technical school and studied electricity. The courses allowed me to add to my knowledge and take on additional projects. It’s as if I was polishing the notions I already had,” he says.
